A paradise of adventure and tranquility!

We open the map of Greece and we search for the coordinates of "Shooting Ground of Pyrgetos". We locate it at the centre of the country, just where South Greece and Nothern Greece unite, nested at the foot of the most glorified mountain of greece, the mythical Olympos and just a breath away from the Aegean Sea.
This "geographical radiography" associatively leads us to the following thought: If the saying of our Nobel Prize winner poet Odysseas Elytis at "Aksion Esti" is real; "Each one and their weapons..." then the "Shooting Ground of Pyrgetos" must have the best weapons ever! And it is not the stat-of-the-art facilities and structures that we refer to, but its surrounding nature itself!
We must admit that Mr. Vassilis Soukos, the founder and instigator of the "Shooting Ground of Pyrgetos" could not have selected a better place to "house" his early hobby of shooting. Among tufted trees, running waters and abundant shade, in an area with extent of 45000 square meters, near the Tempi Valley and next to the traditional village of Pyrgetos.
In a place that constitutes a live museum of natural history, with a great variety of colours and scents of herbs and flowersin the Olympian nature, sorrounded by the blue of the sky and the sea. With marvellous sunshines, purifying rainss, near the coastline, away from the busy cities and the exhaust fumes and yet so easily accessible. Just a half hour drive from Larissa or katerini.
Perhaps it is the microclimate of the region, the authenticity, the beauty, the combination of history, tradition and civilization, the unique view or the aura of the Aegean that create the ideal Greek recipe against stress, which challenges the visitors and athletes of the "Shooting Ground of Pyrgetos" into games of mind rebirth!
Nevertheless, shooting itself is a spiritual challenge!
Here, there is just man and nature, a paradise of adventure and tranquility, a shelter of the shooters for relaxarion and improvement of their skills, a natural resorce of oxygen!
Playground
The "Shooting Ground of Pyrgetos" has a specially formulated playground in order to make its commitment towards parents and their children come true. Inside the restricted playground, the small children can, under their parent's supervision, have fun through playing on the wooden constructions and enjoy the company of a stone bearfamily, which is the mascot of the playground.
